About Touchpoints

Touchpoints is a developmental, relational, and strengths-based approach to promoting optimal health, development, and learning in young children and their families. To accomplish this, Touchpoints offers a set of guiding principles used to strengthen partnerships within communities among all those who share this mission.

The Touchpoints approach uses predictable developmental events to offer families anticipatory guidance intended to prevent temporary normative developmental regressions from becoming fixed as more longstanding developmental or relational deviations.

Anticipatory guidance is delivered through relationship-enhancing strategies that involve a paradigm shift for professionals who work with young children and their families.
